From Phoenix & Tucson:
Travel south on Interstate 10 through Tucson.
Exit on Interstate 19 South toward Nogales.
Continue south on Interstate 19 (south of Green Valley) to Exit 48 - Arivaca
Road.
At the bottom of exit ramp turn left. This will take you under the freeway.
Turn right on the Frontage Road.
Proceed for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left on Amado Road.
Follow the Rex Ranch signs into the ranch (approx. 1.5 miles).
Please note
that you will drive through the Santa Cruz River. Currently, the river
bed is dry. During the rainy season, there is an alternate route to avoid
the river. This route is on the map below. Call 520.398.2914 to check
on road conditions before your next visit in order to determine your best
route.
Bridge Crossing Route:
From Tucson - Exit 48 - Arivaca Road.
Turn left at the
bottom of the off ramp.
Turn left on the
Frontage Road to Elephant Head Road.
Turn right on Elephant
Head Road, travel 2 miles to Mt. Hopkins Road.
Turn right on Mt.
Hopkins Road, travel 3 miles and turn right on Amado Montosa Road. Look
for a large Rex Ranch sign.
Stay on Amado Montosa
Road and follow the signs to the ranch.
Allow 15 minutes
more for the Bridge Route.
It is scenic and beautiful and the road is in good condition.
